IRC and #warwick

As well as wasting time on Usenet, some of the inhabitants of alt.alumni.warwick like to waste it on IRC, too. They do it in #warwick on the Astrolink network. Here's how you can do the same:

1. Do one of:
   • Go to the Astrolink web interface, or:
   • 1. Get yourself an IRC client if you don't already have one. For X11, X-Chat is popular. MS Windows users seem to like mirc.
     2. Type /server irc.astrolink.org to use a random Astrolink server.
2. Type /join #warwick
3. Say hello
